At a very young age we had no other choice then to navigate the Gander River. It was our only source of transportation to other parts of Newfoundland and Labrador at the time. In 1979, my father and I decided that we had chosen the right location to start our summer cabin that was located close to one of the best Atlantic salmon pools in Newfoundland on the Mighty Gander River.
In 2008 I took it upon myself to start my own business with years of experience on the river and become a guide on my own. I have guided on this river for over 20 years with other outfitters. Along with my brother, Dave Gillingham who has been guiding for 30 years on the Gander river you can be assured that you will have the experience of a lifetime.
